Two-factor authentication (2FA) strengthens access security by requiring two methods to verify your identity. These factors can include something you know (a username and password), plus something you have (like a smartphone app) to approve authentication requests.

2FA protects against phishing, social engineering and password brute-force attacks and secures your logins from attackers exploiting weak or stolen credentials. Without your physical device (smartphone app), remote attackers can’t pretend to be you to gain access to corporate networks, cloud storage, financial information, etc.

We now offer 2FA for our Cloud Customers, as well as on-site networks or other portals customers may want to add, such as LastPass, online banking, etc. It is simple and quick – log in, receive a popup on your phone, approve it and you are allowed to log in. Since all of our company data is in the cloud and I log in from various computers and locations, I feel much safer knowing that I have control of final access by my phone.
